Susan Munro has a prolific twenty (20) year career working in the sectors of creative production and post-production for advertising and independent film, after igniting her career at the legendary Red Car editorial house. There she worked with the top directors in TV commercials and transformed into one of its strongest editors.

Now an award-winning picture editor of commercials, documentaries and narrative films, her concentrated background and experience have provided her with expertise as the producer on many of her clients’ projects as well. Awards include top tier competitions such as; AICE, AICP, Super Bowl Ad Meter, Outfest Film Festival, Q Film Festival and Sonoma Film Festival.

A graduate of Fine Arts in Film and Television, the mother of two children, and the Founding President of Hybrid Collective, Susan brings her rich experience, multiple points of view, and seasoned leadership to all the creative projects she helms.

As President of Hybrid Collective, Susan built a unique commercial advertising and branded content studio featuring an eclectic team of filmmakers, ad creatives, editors, artists, comedians, musicians, athletes and a few super genius geeks.  Seeded in the philosophy of inspiring diverse perspectives and experiences to create rich stories for brands that engage, inform, delight and inspire, Hybrid includes amongst its clients Doritos, AT&T, Lexus, Lions Gate, DreamWorks, UPS, Honda and Wells Fargo,
